Either your timescale in the story is severely contracted, or you just don't know what you're talking about. Firstly, an ultrasound in the first few weeks after getting pregnant is completely unrevealing; the fetus at that point is just a bolus of cells, so the scan will show nothing intelligible, just miscellaneous reflections and shadowing from the uterine wall, and certainly won't indicate twins; it takes an ultrasound from 14 weeks or later (i.e. middle of the second trimester, which is when most ante-natal clinic will even consider the first Ultrasound scan) to positively detect a fetus, let alone two. Second, a baby-bump usually won't show until well into the second trimester; the fetus and amniotic sac are just not big enough at that point to make a noticeable difference so, no baby-bump in just the first few weeks of pregnancy. Either you've never known any pregnant women, or you've not done any basic research, or you've just plowed ahead with your basic ignorance and hoped no-one will notice. NO stars.

wow is this story is NOT a good one andit is waaaaay over rated. I am NOT against the reconciliation at all... I think THIS one was well done.

I expected the usual greatest story ever!! responses from TheBullet Espresso Bolus bruce22 and others but I am kind of surprise that Salamis Juanwildone and sleepless think this story is great.



I DO like how the Husband actions of NOT hearing the audio and seeing the video are explained. He doesnt want to wreck his family after the year long Cancer trauma. THAT is admirable.



so how the fuck does that Justify NEVER confronting / talking to his wife for EIGHT years?

SECOND... So then the therapist correctly deduces that Alan was using this secret he had supress his anger he had built up over this wife but never brought to the emotional surface against his wife.



GREAT... so then the therapists says And from the sound of things, it really worked. You've both said that the last few years of the marriage have been very good.



HUH? come on author!! The therapist just finished telling us how how Alan was using this secret to make the last 8 years tolerable for him.



so how then does he assert that the last few years were good years for the Marriage? The last 8 years were built on lies and coverups from Alan and his wife.



LASTLY when ALAN comes to tell his side of the story he lies his god dam ass off like the coward he is. The KEY issue is that Alan tell the Therapist and his wife how he went to the other guy's office forced the other guy to break off the affair.



But he never tells the therapist that he heard his wife BEG to NOT end it. He NEVER tells the therapist how upset his wife was for days after the affair ended.
